Two New Features for Grantmakers at GrantAnalyst.com
geoff@grantanalyst.com (Geoff Hamilton)

has added two new items to the already extensive list of powerful features to improve the grantmaking process. Although, these additions aren't earth-shattering, they do add quite a bit of functionality.

The first allows a grantmaker to enter preliminary or provisional decisions. This would allow you to 'lean' toward a decision and see what that would look like for your financial picture and how you are progressing toward reaching your giving goals. This will also allow you to sort through the proposals you've received based on some preliminary decision-making.

The second addition is a feature that allows you to send email, based on templates that you write, to entire lists of grantseekers, based on decision-making criteria listed above. Now you can save an approval letter template as well as a decline letter template and a miscellaneous letter template. These templates can be changed anytime you want, even if you want to send an email that is different from the template, but you don't want to permanently alter the template. Since you can send the letter to lists of applicants, you can take care of all of your acceptance/decline letters in a matter of moments.

If you would like to take a look at these features on the website, login with the UserId 'PROP123' and Password 'PROP123' and give yourself a guided tour. Feel free to poke around and discover other features that you might find beneficial. There are actually more there than you think. Take a look at .

As always, we are striving to improve the grantmaking process for everyone involved. If there is something you would like to see added to the site, just let us know and we will do what we can. In the meantime, keep your eyes out for more features to be added to the site.
