Welcome to the GrantAnalyst.com Weblog!
This is a venue for communication regarding the grant community. More specifically, this is where we will be discussing unique approaches to bringing technology to the grant process. This is a place for posting information that is relevant to you as a grantmaker or a grantseeker, to be shared and discussed in an environment just for grantmaking.
We are excited to see where this leads and we are excited to raise the level of dialogue with you. More importantly, we are excited to see the grantmaking community adopt some of the technology that is already in place. There are great efficiencies to be gained, and in this era of increased accountability, it makes sense to use every available tool to increase productivity and efficiency and keep your organization above board.
For the myriad of discussions that have been held on the topic of technology and grantmaking, there have been very few highlights of actual implementation. We hope to demonstrate some of them to you through this Weblog. The grantmaking community has shown brief snippets of technological activity, but at this point it has not yet reached a point of putting rubber to the road on more than a localized level. We think it’s time for change. We think it’s time for action. That’s why we started this business. For more of a sales pitch, there is a menu on your left that will guide you to more information. Please help yourself.
Obviously, as a service provider in the grant technology arena, we have a vested interest in promoting our service, but this does not mean that we will ignore other technology applications in our discussions. There will be plenty of opportunity to bring light to our industry in such a way that will be positive and constructive for everyone. If you have suggestions for something we should post, please let us know.
We look forward to hearing from you and discussing how technology is impacting the grantmaking process. You can submit your own comments regarding any post on this log. We check all comments that are posted, and once they gain our editorial board’s approval, we will make them publicly available. Then people can comment on your comments, and so on and so on.
Feel free to link to this page in any of your communications. If you write about us, let us know. We would genuinely like to hear what you have to say. If you’ve stumbled onto us for some reason and think that we should have stumbled onto you by now, please let us know about yourself and your organization. We would like to know what you are up to.
It’s a pleasure to have this opportunity for dialogue with you and we look forward to hearing from you!
