Mission
The Sample Society of America exists to provide samples to impoverished yet deserving populations within the United States as well as anyone else that wants to receive samples. We believe that the proliferation of samples is the world's answer to such devastating problems as world hunger, world peace, and adequate parking availability.
History
The Sample Society was formed in 1982 to address the increasing lack of samples available to the general public. In reponse to this need, the founding members organized the society as a means of soliciting funds to be used for purchasing samples in the marketplace and then providing those samples free of charge.
Current Programs
Samples For Everyone - Our main program to provide samples for everyone.
Sample Activist Education - Our college campus program to educate America's future leaders on the importance of samples.

Cover Letter
Date
Dr Jim Baxter, CMT, FAAMT Director The Samples Foundation 1111 W. 1st St. Fort Collins, CO 80525
Dear Dr Baxter:
The Sample Society is interested in the grants you are offering on GrantAnalyst.cop. I am currently employed as Legislative Director for Assemblywoman XXXX, Chairperson of the NYS Assembly XXX. I accepted this position because of the emphasis on the writing and research skills which are applicable to your requirements for an author’s assistant. My experience in the NYS Assembly has afforded me the opportunity to become familiar with the consolidated and unconsolidated laws of the State of New York.I also have extensive experience in legal and policy research.
In my position as Legislative Director for Ms. XXX, I prepare her personal legislation which deals with issues relative to her position as Senior Member of the NYS Assembly Standing Committee on XXXX. In as much as she is Chairperson of the XXX Committee I am, of course, heavily involved in the current welfare and medicaid reform movement.
In response to your search for a part-time assistant, I believe my experience in the Legislature, and my research and writing skills qualify me for consideration. If you would like, I can provide with current samples with my work.
To further acquaint you with the specifics of my background I am enclosing my resume. I hope you will consider me for this position. I look forward to meeting with you and discussing my qualifications in more detail.
Sincerely,
Your Signature

Purpose of Grant
This grant will be used to augment current sample programs as well as to increase general Operating Capital for the Sample Society of America.
Brief description of request
We are requesting this grant to secure funds that will be used to purchase and distribute Food Samples to impoverished populations in the United States.
Problem definition or needs assessment
There is a drastic shortage of sample availability in the United States today. All too often there are families throughout the country that do not have adequate samples made available to them on a daily basis. This problem leads to stereotypical antisocial behavior that has a tendency to further lead to criminal behavior.
The only way to address this problem is to make samples more commonly available to the average and impoverished families in the United States.
Proposed Project
If funded, the Sample Society will purchase samples currently not available in the marketplace and will make those samples available on a first-come, first-served basis at regional Sample Society offices.
Custom Questions:
What kind of cars do you drive?
We only drive cars with more than one wheel.
What kind of animals do you enjoy?
We like all animals.
How many meals do you eat in a day?
